Nissan Leaf Will Participate in Cannonball Run


An all new Nissan Leaf is headed to Ireland, taking part in the next generation of street racing.

 

The classic Cannonball Run is headed overseas, and is running a combination of gasoline vehicles along with some alternative fuel alternatives.

 

Cannonball Run is no longer a dangerous coast-to-coast car race like it was in the 1970's. These day's, the Run is a charity event, with sponsors and the opportunity to "raise money for Barretstown Camp, which caters to children with cancer and other serious illnesses."1

New Smartphone App to Help Charge the LEAF


The Nissan LEAF EV that was released to the market earlier this year has become popular among consumers.  To date over ten thousand units have been sold.  Nissan doesn't plan on stopping there.  They've already developed and launched a new Blackberry and Android app to assist LEAF owners.

2012 GT-R Spec R Update


Australian Nissan fans can expect the Nissan GT-R to receive some pretty powerful enhancements. The Spec R variant will have a more powerful suspension, combined with even more horsepower. The question remains, will we ever see this model on the Royal Nissan showroom floor?
